Bringing over fifteen years of professional performance experience into rehearsal rooms, theatre productions and higher education.
I work as a freelance Musical Director, Vocal Coach and Musician across professional theatre, touring productions and conservatoire training. Having spent fifteen years performing professionally before moving into music direction, I bring a practical understanding of singing, acting and movement to every rehearsal.
Whether leading a production, preparing performers, or collaborating with directors and creative teams, my focus is always the same: creating confident performances through clear musical leadership, thoughtful preparation and collaborative rehearsal processes.
A Musical Director who understands performers
My background as a professional performer shapes the way I work as a Musical Director.
Having spent many years performing in musical theatre, I understand the demands placed on performers from first rehearsal to final performance. I know the balance required between vocal technique, storytelling, choreography and musicianship because I've experienced it myself.
That perspective allows me to lead rehearsals that are both musically detailed and performer-centred. I believe the strongest productions are built through collaboration, where musical decisions support the wider creative vision and performers feel confident to do their best work.
Whether working with professional companies, emerging performers or students in higher education, I aim to create rehearsal rooms that are organised, supportive and artistically ambitious.

SERVICES
VOCAL COACHING & EDUCATION
VOCAL COACHING
As a voice specialist, I provide singers with a comprehensive approach to developing their voice and artistry.
My coaching combines evidence-based vocal pedagogy with practical experience from the rehearsal room, helping singers develop healthy, confident and expressive performances.
With a deep understanding of musicality and interpretation, I support singers in connecting with the text, elevating both their technical skills and performance ability.
EDUCATION
I work with universities, conservatoires and training providers delivering musical theatre tuition, vocal coaching, ensemble work and rehearsal leadership.
My teaching draws together professional industry experience with current research in vocal pedagogy, preparing performers for the realities of the profession.
