HOW DOES THE FREE TRIAL WORK?
I understand that choosing the right teacher for you is important. So in our 20 minute free trial, we will take the time to meet each other. I would love to know a bit about you, your singing experience, and what you want to gain from singing lessons. And of course you can ask me any questions you might have. If you are happy to sing, then I would love to hear you. This can be a song you enjoy singing, or even just "Happy Birthday"! We might try a few exercises so you can see how a lesson would go.
HOW DO ONLINE LESSONS WORK?
Online singing lessons have been a popular choice for years. We would usually conduct the lesson through the video conferencing software Zoom. I will provide you with all the set up information you need. The main difference with online is I can't accompany you live due to the internet time lag. So I will get a piano track to you before the lesson, or we will use a backing track. What's most important is you have a quiet and comfortable place to have your lesson without being disturbed. If you are having to not sing too loud because someone is asleep, or you are conscious of other household members hearing your voice, it will affect the progress we can make.
WHAT MAKES YOU QUALIFIED?
I have a formal qualification through 'The Voice College' in teaching contemporary singing, as well as my qualifications in acting and musical theatre. This is evidence of the years of studying I have done to get to the standard of coach I am. I also have many years of experience as a performer, appearing in numerous number 1 musicals, and having coached vocals for over 10 years. I take my work very seriously and regularly attend professional development courses of the highest calibre.
WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY?
I have a 48hr cancellation policy. Anything cancelled with less than 48hrs notice will still be charged for.
WHAT LEVEL OF SINGING DO I NEED TO BE?
You do not need to be any level of singing. Wherever you are in your singing journey, whether it be beginner or professional, our lessons will serve your needs and goals. Never be afraid of 'not being good enough'.
CAN YOU HELP ME PREPARE FOR MY AUDITION?
Absolutely! I have a huge amount experience working on audition prep, with great success. Whether it be for an amateur audition, a drama school audition, or an audition for a West End musical, I can most definitely help you feel confident and prepared.
