As well as performing onstage, Darren can also be found working as a vocal coach and musical director. He is a talented musician playing piano and saxophone, and has accompanied such performers as Brenda Edwards (X Factor), Kelli Young (Liberty X), Leanne Jones (Hairspray), and Ben Forster (Thriller Live, Jesus Christ Superstar).

Darren is musical supervisor for Michael Quinn Productions currently overseeing: 'The Rollerboys'; 'The Rollergirls' and 'The Jersey Quartet', as well as working on more exciting acts to be launched in 2020!

Darren is passionate about the voice and is continually furthering his knowledge as the science of the voice is explored more. He draws on many different sources of research and methodology in his teaching. He has an Advanced Professional Diploma in teaching contemporary singing with The Voice College.
